Sometimes God uses our children to lead us and strengthen our faith.

God’s Love

After 48 years of running, I finally made the decision to be a Follower of Christ. God was patiently waiting for me. September 12, 2021.

Baptism is a sacred rite, a profound immersion in water that symbolizes the washing away of sin and the rebirth of the spirit into a life of faith. It is a moment of divine encounter, where the baptized, embraced by the grace of God, publicly declares their commitment to Christ, rising anew as a member of His eternal family. This act, both simple and eternal, marks a covenant of love, forgiveness, and the promise of salvation.

Embracing God’s Unwavering Love

God’s love for us is unwavering, and He works tirelessly to ensure a bright future for us all. When we release the pain, hurt, and negative self-perceptions, we can embrace the truth of how cherished we are in God’s eyes. Each day, upon waking, imagine how different you would feel knowing that you are deeply valued by God and that your worth is not determined by your performance, or lack thereof. God loves you simply for being you, we are His workmanship. What if everything we have been through is preparing us for everything we’ve been asking for? Allow God to bring beauty from your pain. It’s never wasted, but it’s transformed for your redemption story.

My story is not to recruit you or persuade your faith, or lack thereof. That is for God to do. My hope is to inspire you to know you are not defined by your darkest of days, scars or where you came from. It is from Whom you truly belong that gives you the strength to hold on in finding your place and peace amid life’s chaos.
